Nintendo Confirms – Wii U Will Be Available At CES 2012

Wanderson75.net has just confirmed via email with a Nintendo spokesperson that the Wii U will in fact be available at the 2012 CES.  Per the spokesperson:

“Nintendo of America, working with the 2012 International CES management, will offer demos of the upcoming Wii U console to members of the media who did not see the system at the 2011 E3 Expo. However, Nintendo will not have a booth at CES, nor does it plan to include any games, experiences or information beyond what was available at the 2011 E3 Expo. Production and development efforts remain on track for the Wii U launch, which will take place between the start of the 2012 E3 Expo in June, and the end of 2012. “

So essentially, for those journalists that were not able to get some hands on time with Nintendo’s up-and-coming next-gen console at E3 this last June, there’s a possibility that you may be able to take a look at the 2012 International CES.  No more details were revealed, however, we have put in a request to get on the list to take a first hand look at this exciting new machine.
