Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask Coming To North America

If you’re into puzzles, English accents, whimsical music, top hats and 3D, then you’ll be pleased to know that Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask was given both a teaser trailer and a release date at last night’s Nintendo Direct announcement show.

The trailer shows the Professor and his assistant, Luke, enjoying themselves at a carnival (complete with an awesome-looking dragon-coaster), before a masked antagonist appears and starts drawing people up into the sky. It then goes on to show a young Layton and friend sword-fighting with spinning mummy-type monsters in what looks like a tomb, before cutting to the title of the new game.

Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is already available in Japan and will be released in North America on November 3.
