Video Games:The Movie Kickstarter Campaign Launches Today

Mediajuice Studios has announced today the start of their Kickstarter Campaign to begin post-production of their documentary Video Games:  The Movie Mediajuice Studios, who have made trailers for many of the world’s top video games, has recently completed a years worth of interviews with many of the industry’s top icons and celebrities.  They are now raising funds to finish the film before releasing it theatrically.

This is a documentary made with the hope to entertain and educate about the history, unique culture and future of the video game industry.  There are interviews with people who helped shape interactive entertainment industry including Nolan Bushnell (founder of ATARI), Randy Pitchford, Cliff Bleszinski and many others.  There are also interviews with some of geek and gamer culture’s leading celebrity voices such as Wil Wheaton, Chris Hardwick and Alison Haislip.

Video Games:  The Movie is expected to cover such hot topics as the questionable correlation between video games and violence, the issue of video games as an art form, next and future-generation gaming and it’s popularity despite the stereotypes plaguing the industry’s success.

The movie looks to tell the story of video games by giving a past, present and future look at how they are made, marketed and consumed.  Where is the market headed?  Find out when the story is told from the perspective developers, publishers and consumers.
