Battlefield 4 Multiplayer Revealed at E3

EA demonstrated their next generation game, Battlefield 4 on Monday.  Showing off a stunning single player demo as well as an amazing 64 player multiplayer match.  Both demos were running at 60 frames per second, even while loading massive maps, vehicles, infantry and environmental effects and destruction.

Two of the new innovations in the multiplayer portion of Battlefield 4 are Levolution and the return of Commander Mode.  Levolution allows players to interact with their environment in multiplayer.  From cutting the power on a building to shroud the enemy in darkness to leveling skyscraper to ruins to change the landscape, Levolution will ensure that no two games are played the same.  In Commander Mode, two players are placed in the center of battle in the situation room.  They must then give critical pieces of information and assets to their team-mates to attempt to bring their side victory.  And now, for the first time ever, Commanders will be able to take control from their iPad or Android Tablet.

As a special added bonus to all fans of Battlefield and as a celebration of the unveiling of Battlefield 4 multiplayer, Battlefield 3:  Close Quarters digital expansion pack will be given free to all Battlefield 3 players for free.  For more information on how to get it, check out their giveaway page.  But you have to be quick.  The offer is only valid during E3 week.

The game will be released to the Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 29, 2013 and for the Xbox One and PS4 at launch.  For more information on Battlefield 4 be sure to check out the website, Facebook or Twitter pages.
