Nyko Unveils Next-Gen Accessories

Nyko Technologies has unveiled their next generation of accessories for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 as well as the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 at E3.

“Continuing in our tradition of embracing new platforms within the launch window” said Chris Arbogast, Director of Marketing, Nyko Technologies. “Nyko is leading the way with new products for the second screen console experience as well as unveiling successors to our best-selling Charge Base line which is being redesigned for next-gen consoles”

The product line-up being shown at E3 includes:

  • Smart Clip – This clip easily holds your smart-phone onto your controller so you can enjoy a hands-free experience using the Smartglass technology.  Coming out first for the Xbox 360 and then to be released for the Xbox One and Playstation 4, this clip will easily hold any generation iPhone, Android, Windows Phone or Blackberry up to 3.5 inches wide.  This will be great for easily accessing Smartglass or Playstation app or just surfing around looking for play tips and hints.  Keep an eye out for this useful device later this year.
  • Charge Base – There will be two new charge base models introduced this year for the Xbox One and Playstation 4.  They will have dual chargers so you can easily store and charge two controllers rapidly.  The Xbox One charge base will come with two rechargeable batteries while the Playstation 4 base will be equipped with their patented USB dongle system.  Both chargers will be released in the launch windows of their respective systems.
  • Headset Adaptor – The adaptor for the Xbox One will plug directly into the HDMI port of the console and allow Stereo RCA sound for most gaming headsets.  The HDMI pass through port will give high fidelity sound to your analog audio components while still allowing for 1080p output to your television.  There is no need for additional batteries, wall socket or software in order to take advantage of this.  The device is compatible with any headset that uses RCA connectors for in game sound.
