Disney Infinity First Wave Power Discs Announced

Disney Infinity’s release is only three weeks away and Disney Interactive has announced their first wave of power discs to be released alongside the game.  The first wave will be 20 discs in blind packs of two.  Each disc will allow you to unlock special powers, vehicles or themes.  Included in this set will be three rare hexagon discs to find.

There will be circular power discs that will grant special abilities in both Plays Set and Toy Box modes.  Hexagonal discs will unlock special gadgets, vehicles and themes within Toy Box mode.  You’ll be able to stack up to two circular discs or three hexagonal discs at a time.

Here’s a list of the first wave of discs and what they provide:

Circular Discs

• Bolt’s Super Strength – Your character will do 10% more damage
• Fix It Felix’s Repair Power – Your character has 20% more health
• C.H.R.O.M.E’s Armor Shield – In-game character takes 10% less damage
• Pieces of Eight – In-game character gets 10% more loot

Hexagonal Discs

• Mickey’s Car – Drive Mickey Mouse’s Jalopy in the Toy Box
• Cinderella’s Coach – Drive Cinderella’s Carriage in the Toy Box
• Kahn – Ride Mulan’s horse, Kahn, in the Toy Box
• Stitch’s Blaster – In-game character wields Stitch’s Blaster
• Carl Fredericksen’s Cane – In-game character gets Carl’s cane from the movie “Up”
• Sugar Rush – Features two separate discs.  King Candy’s Dessert Topping Texture Set which adds “Sugar Rush” theme from “Wreck-it-Ralph” to Toy Box terrain objects and Sugar Rush Sky Skydome which will add a “Sugar Rush” theme to the Toy Box sky.
• Alice in Wonderland – Features two separate discs.  Alice’s Wonderland Texture Set will add an “Alice in Wonderland” theme to Toy Box terrain objects and Tulgey Wood Skydome to add an “Alice in Wonderland” theme to Toy Box sky.
• Finding Nemo – Features two separate discs.  Marlin’s Reef Texture Set will add a “Finding Nemo” theme to Toy Box terrain objects and Nemo’s Seascape Skydome will add a “Finding Nemo theme to the Toy Box sky.
• Tangled Lantern – Features two separate discs.  Rapunzel’s Kingdom Texture Set will add a “Tangled” theme to Toy Box terrain objects and Rapunzel’s Birthday Sky Skydome will add a “Tangled” theme to the Toy Box sky.

Rare Hexagonal Discs

• Dumbo the Flying Elephant – Will add the Dumbo ride from Parks in the Toy Box
• Abu the Elephant – Will add the elephant version of Abu in the Toy Box
• Astro Blasters Space Cruiser – will add the Astro Blaster vehicle from the Buzz Lightyear attraction to the Toy Box
