Razer Collaborates with Grinding Gear Games to Enhance New Game, Path of Exile

Razor has announced a new partnership with Grinding Gear Games in order to help enhance the RPG game, Path of Exile, coming out this October.

Path of Exile is currently in a beta phase with over 3 million users online, launching for the PC this year.  Set in a dark fantasy world, Path of Exile has you playing as a character who has been banished to Wraeclast for your past misdeeds.  In the game, you’ll have the opportunity to play as one of six different character types and will encounter many different types of enemies, each carrying loot or mysterious artifacts.

An example of the partnership between the two companies will be the in game footprints available exclusively to Razer fans.  One example of which is the triple headed snake logo in the game with more to come available in the coming months.

“At Razer we are really excited at the opportunity to work directly with game developers like Grinding Gear Games. Path of Exile is extremely addictive and brings a new side to hack and slay games not seen before,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder, CEO and creative director. “Partnerships such as this see game developers making use of both our hardware and software technology. This is the key to our goal of enhancing the game experience and performance while supporting the creative visionaries that are the lifeblood of our business.”

“We’re thrilled to be working with one of the biggest names in gaming hardware and software,” says Chris Wilson, Path of Exile lead developer and founder of Grinding Gear Games. “We feel that Razer’s enhancements will further players’ immersion into the world of Path of Exile.”
