Ratchet & Clank Getting HD Makeover For 10th Anniversary
Ted Price, CEO of Insomniac Games, announced today on the PlayStation Blog that Ratchet & Clank will be getting an HD makeover for their 10th anniversary.
“It’s amazing that it’s been almost 10 years since the release of the original Ratchet & Clank on PlayStation 2. A lot has changed since 2002, but your loyalty to our furry Lombax and his faithful robot companion has endured. As we reach the 10th Anniversary of Ratchet & Clank, we wanted to commemorate the achievements of the Ratchet & Clank saga”, said the Insomniac boss.
The Ratchet & Clank Collection will consist of the classic PS2 games Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal all redone in 1080p (720p stereoscopic 3D support) by Idol Minds, who has been working closely with Insomniac on the project. Trophies will also be added as well as online multiplayer action.
The Ratchet & Clank Collection will be available this Fall.
