Battlefield 3 Premium Announced By DICE
In keeping in the competitive spirit, DICE announced that they’re going “above and beyond the call” once again with their answer to Call of Duty Elite: Battlefield 3 Premium.
This service, available now across all systems, includes all current and future DLC packages, including Back to Karkand and Close Quarters, releasing them to members two weeks early. Other incentives include unique in-game items, exclusive events like double XP weekends, Strategy guides and videos, and perks like being able to reset your stats for a fresh start. All available for the price of $49.99 or 4000 Microsoft Points.
For the gamers worried about their current battlelog access, all of Battlefield 3‘s currently free features will still be available at no cost. This means you’ll still be able to track your stats, form and edit platoons, gander over the leaderboards, and access the Com Center and Battle Feed.
Each expansion pack will still be available separately, but the Premium service works out to be a saving of about $25 dollars after everything’s said and done, before factoring in all the other perks. What do you think, worth the price tag, or will you be buying the expansions individually (if at all)? Leave a comment with your thoughts, and stay tuned!
