Fatshark today announced a new edition of Krater will be up for grabs; the Krater 10K Edition.  The edition, as the name implies, will cost a whopping $10,000!  Of course, unlike most limited edition games that include a cheesy art book or Day 1 Downloadable Content, this version will include Game Designer Victor Magnuson himself. ITC Judge’s Ruling Could Make Holiday Tough For Xbox

Courthouse News today reported that International Trade Commission (ITC) Administrative Law Judge David Shaw has made the recommendation that the ITC should impose a cease and desist order to Microsoft, preventing sales of the Xbox 360 S 4GB and 250GB models because the console maker violated four U.S. patents owned by Motorola.  The patents involved are regarding to the wireless technology used in the S models. 38 Studios Fighting To Stay Afloat

EA’s Origin Service To Waive Fees On Crowd Funded Games

Electronic Arts’ digital distribution service, Origin, will now be waiving distribution fees for crowd funded PC games.  Crowd funding has become widely popular through sites such as Kickstarter, especially with independent developers that lack the cash necessary to create high quality games.  Now it appears that EA is getting into the game by offering a 90-day waiver on distribution fees for developers that have “a successfully crowd-funded, ready-to-publish downloadable PC game. ” Read On »
