Little Orbit and TNT Form Partnership to Develop Falling Skies Video Games

Are you a fan of the television series Falling Skies?  If so, then you’re in luck because video game developer Little Orbit and TNT have signed a deal to bring the series to life as a console video game.  The game will tie directly into the television series and has a mobile version coming out this holiday season with plans to release to multiple consoles in 2014.

Razer Sponsored Alliance Wins $1.4 Million At DOTA 2 Championship

Alliance, a professional video game team has won this year’s International 3 Dota 2 tournament.  The team, sponsored by Razer, a developer of high end gaming systems, hardware and software, has won the top prize of over 1.4 million US dollars at the tournament.  The total winnings available at the event was 2.87 million which was the most prize winnings ever offered at a competitive gaming event.

Disney Interactive and Harmonix Music Systems have signed on award winning composer, Inon Zur, to develop original music for the game Disney Fantasia:  Music Evolved.  To celebrate this announcement, Zur conducted some of the orchestral classics that will be in the game with the Disney Chamber Ensemble at Disney’s D23 Expo.
