So… Are You Fallout 4 or Not? The Survivor2299 Hubbub

I remember when I was a little girl, my brothers used to play this dirty little mind trick on me to get me all riled up. They’d whisper fake words into each other’s ears, and as soon as I got close enough to barely make out what they were saying, they would both whisper (albeit slightly louder to make sure I heard): “Don’t tell Rachel.”  It drove me nuts. I just had to know what I wasn’t supposed to know!

25 Hours Can Truly Make a Difference! Join Us For The Extra Life Marathon.

Gamers usually start out falling in love with video games at a very young age. I know I can’t remember a time when I didn’t play, so it makes sense that we would encourage and support our youth through the same medium that makes us feel so young at heart. And what better way to do that than to take those games and do a marathon for children who need our support the most, because they’re sick or injured?

Child’s Play Raises Spirits This Holiday Season

Most of us can say we’ve been in a hospital at least once in our lives; whether as a patient or visitor of family or friends.  You may remember the smell of the sterile environment, the harsh glare of bright lights, and the pleasant voice occasionally blaring over the P.A. System paging a doctor, nurse, or someone.  Even though hospitals are places of healing and recovery, you never want to stay for an extended period of time – if you can help it.  As a child, a hospital is the last place you want to be in.  Locked up and not being able to run around, with just a TV and some old toys to keep you company can be extremely difficult on a kid – or at least that’s the way it was before the inception of the Child’s Play Charity’s in 2003. Grand Theft Auto V: The Trailer- Back to San Andreas?

GTA fans have been chomping at the bit ever since the countdown clock was posted for the Grand Theft Auto V trailer last week, and it is finally here. I was there when the counter reached zero and I elected to get the full experience in 720p HD.  We hear the voice of a middle-aged man. He explains that all he wants is a normal life, as we watch the hustle and bustle of a busy street scene. Then I see it: the dead giveaway.  As a clip of a pier is played, I see the name Los Santos and I suddenly know where we are. In the new instalment of Rockstar’s cash cow we will be going back to San Andreas. Read On »

Beating a Dead Zombie Horse

With Halloween and its accompanying trick-or-treaters on our door step, it seems the game industry has horror on its brain in the form of zombies. With more and more games being released each year either about or featuring our favourite undead, some people are starting to feel a little… overwhelmed by the horde, so to speak.

Places To Do – Xbox 360 Central: Toronto

When Victoria told me about the location of the Disney event that she went to last week, I had to see this for myself.  Nestled in amongst the shops at 330 Queen Street, Toronto, about a block away from the Silver Snail (a phenomenal haunt for the comic aficionado), was a little nook emblazoned with the Xbox 360 logo.  Microsoft had set up shop with some of the latest titles available, and a few that weren’t, for the public to feast upon and try out.
